"Job Shadowing" platform

What it is?

Job shadowing is an on-the-job learning, career development, and leadership development program for pupils in Lithuania.

Who is doing it?

The job shadowing program is run by NGO Lietuvos Junior Achievement (LJA) in Lithuanian schools. LJA partnered together with Kaunas district municipality to create a scalable, simple platform to connect 5 different stakeholders:

  • pupils, to study the career development content, visit the job shadowing positions in businesses and reflect on their experiences,
  • teachers, to teach the career development content and supervise their students,
  • businesses, which are socially responsible and would like to invited pupils to share their professional experiences,
  • municipality is a big brother which supervises their schools and involves businesses to join,
  • administrator, is looking after that program, platform and users are working fluently.

What did we do?

Ugipro team delivered a platform to match the requirements of 5 stakeholders. The key solutions were: connecting businesses with pupils, solution for content, and reporting.
